This flat cap is certainly made for the warmer months as it is only a very thin material. I also found it a bit tricky to make it sit correctly as there is no real shape to the hat as it is. I put it through the wash and I found the hat looked better after that but I would say if you have to tighten it too much to fit a smaller head, then it will end up having a bit of a funny shape to it. Apart from that, I like the peak, it doesn't sit out too far like it can do on some.

This is a really nice and well made flat cap however, it's on the small size and doesn't fit my husband's head which isn't that big! It seems to be well made and looks very stylish but even with the adjustment to the largest possible size, it's doesn't fit well. Shame really because it's a nice looking cap.

I love this style of hat and wear them every day! I live in Florida, so I appreciate the lightweight fabric this is made with. Every other plaid hat I have is very heavy and can get quite hot in the Florida sun. It can be adjusted to fit using three snaps on the back. The hat was on the middle snap when I got it, and it fit perfectly on my noggin first try. All my other lightweight caps are just solid colors so I'm really happy to have a nice plaid hat to wear year-round now!
